Nation prays for Siachen survivor

After days of bone chilling cold and being buried deep under many feet of ice, Lance Naik Hanumanthappa has miraculously survived the deadly avalanche at Siachen. PM Modi and Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhaag visited the hospital where the jawan has been admitted and is under intensive care. Hanumanthappa is currently in comatose and continues to be in shock with low blood pressure. The R&R Hospital where he is being treated said he remains extremely critical and is expected to have a stormy course in the next 24-48 hours.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the brave soldier in hospital and spoke to the doctors. The Prime Minister tweeted, “No words are enough to describe the endurance & indomitable spirit of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa. He is an outstanding soldier. Team of doctors is attending to Lance Naik Hanumanthappa. We are all hoping & praying for the best”
Lance Naik Hanumanthappa hails from Dharwad in Karnataka. His family is overjoyed at the news that he is still alive and are hoping and praying for his recovery.
