Band display enthralls people

Where stern and always alert attitude of BSF Jawans’ have gone?! Can’t believe it! OMG, rough and tough looking jawans with automatic weapons have suddenly became soft and tendering. It was a totally different atmosphere here at Akhaura Indo-Bangla border in Agartala, Tripura. Keeping scary weapons aside, BSF personnel and jawans of Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) were greeting common people of Tripura of India and Comilla of Bangladesh. What had turned the attitude of border guarding jawans?

Actually, it was a nice cultural evening, a joint display of musical synchronization between jawans of two nations, India and Bangladesh. A joint band display of BSF and BGB was organized at ICP, Agartala-Akhaura Check Post today (Oct 31, 2016). The objective of the programme was to strengthen good relationship, peace and tranquility along Indo-Bangla border areas between the Border Guarding Forces of two friendly nations.

Well dressed musical bands of BSF and BGB jawans perfectly synchronized their musical instruments, played several tunes and created an atmosphere of serenity. Musical rhythm broke the boundary and enthralled the people of either side of the border.
